Exhibition “Van Gogh, the final journeys”

On the occasion of the 170th anniversary of the birth of Vincent Van Gogh, the Château d'Auvers will host an exceptional exhibition devoted to the last four years of Van Gogh's life.

This new route will allow its visitors to discover the geographical and artistic explorations of Van Gogh in France from 1886 to 1890, Paris, Arles, Saint-Rémy-de-Provence with a particular focus on his stay in Auvers-sur-Oise, where he created more than 75 paintings in less than 70 days,

Mixing, digital, original works by contemporary painters of Van Gogh, the exhibition will reveal the sources of inspiration of the artist, through a scenography mixing digital and original works at the heart of the work of the genius.
