Measures to protect health

Dear visitors,

The Château d'Auvers has been prepared with a view to welcoming you under the best possible conditions and in compliance with the government’s measures in terms of protection and prevention. We have adjusted our arrangements for welcoming visitors and taken additional cleanliness and hygiene measures to protect your health, your safety and those of our teams.

We would ask you to read the arrangements for the reopening of our site; these will be subject to change, depending on government recommendations and on how the COVID-19 epidemic develops.

REOPENING

Wearing a mask is compulsory on the entire site, from arrival to exit.

When you arrive, disinfect your hands with the hydro-alcoholic gel available on arrival at the museum reception-ticket office.

The locker rooms are closed. Large bags and backpacks will not be allowed.

The Château is currently limiting access to the tour to 5 people  approximately every 15 minutes, in order to comply with the social distancing requirements.

Until further notice, only individual visits are being accepted. The audio guides are disinfected after each visit.

Group visits and educational activities for young audiences are currently suspended.

Visits are allowed for individuals, families, couples or people living under the same roof. No grouping with other people is allowed anywhere on the site.

Please comply with the visitors’ tour circuit which has been put in place, the rules displayed and the wait markings on the ground. Please comply with the maximum number of people in each room.

Avoid any intersections. Where this is not possible, priority is given to people already there or as specified in our notices.

Always maintain a distance of at least 1 metre between you and other people.
